            In February, 2016, Wuxi SMART was appraised as Advanced Unit of Safe Production in XinWu District, Wuxi City. The leaders of the local safety supervision department leaders had a special trip to send honorary tablet to Wuxi SMART and had a constructive exchange of views about development and promotion of safety work.

    2015 China top ten annual new prominent enterprise in automation field

            On April 21, 2016, sponsored by China Institute of automation , undertaken by Control Network and Automation Expo, co-organized by China Instrument & Apparatus Industry Association, China Computer Industry Association, National Technical Committee for Standardization of Machinery Safety, National Technical Committee for Standardization of  Industry Process Control and automation, Industrial Control System Information Security Industry Alliance, 2016 China Automation Industry Annual Conference and the Eleventh Chinese Automation Industry Century Tour (CAIAC2016) were held a grand ceremony in Beijing. Activities announced the eight kinds of prizes results which discussed and elected lasting four months. Wuxi SMART Auto-control Engineering Co.,LTD.  by right of abundant strength, standing out from numerous applicants, won out the 2015 China Top Ten annual new prominent enterprise laurel in automation field and was invited to attend the grand gathering.

    Wuxi SMART held the second Employee’ Assembly and the second election meeting of the Trade Union Committee

            On Apr. 20, 2016, Wuxi SMART held the second Employee’s Assembly and the second election meeting of the Trade Union Committee. Sixty-nine employees representatives, which accounted for 20.6% of all employees, came into being by the democratic recommendation of all departments. The meeting examined and approved the work statement of first session of Trade Union Committee and the funds examined report on the Trade Union Committee, passed the second edition of employee handbook by unanimous vote, elected the second trade union committee. Vice president Shen affirmed the achievements of the first session of Trade Union Committee, hoped the second session of the Trade Union Committee to play a greater role and make greater achievements with the company administration in terms of participation, maintenance, care and security.

    Wuxi SMART successfully passed annual supervision and audit of ISO14000 and OHSAS18000

            On Apr. 20, 2016, audit experts from Beijing New Century Inspection and Certification Company Ltd. came to carry out annual supervision and audit of our company in terms of ISO14000 (environmental management system) and OHSAS18000 (occupational health and safety management system), which successfully passed.

    Wuxi SMART successfully passed the control valve inspection and maintenance qualification review

           On Mar. 30-31, 2016, petrochemical engineering inspection and maintenance technology center of China Special Inspection Institution sent expert group to review control valve inspection and maintenance E4-1 certificate qualification. Through two days on-site audit, the qualification conditions met the requirements in terms of resource condition, QHSE management system, QHSE system implementation, inspection and maintenance project implementation. The review of the expert group passed.

    Member of Wuxi Municipal Party Standing Committee, first deputy mayor Huang Qin, with his team, investigated Wuxi SMART

           On Feb. 20, the first week after the Spring Festival, Member of Wuxi Municipal Party Standing Committee, first deputy mayor Huang Qin and the Secretary of XinWu District Commitee Wei Duo with a team came to investigate Wuxi SMART. They visited production workshops, products and process accompanied by President Shen and other leaders, subsequently called a symposium on the scene in Wuxi SMART. Vice mayor Huang understood about Wuxi SMART's production scale, sales volume, tax paid, profits in recent years, the status in the industry and the strategic planning, asked what difficulties the enterprise needed to solve with the coordination and the help of the government. President Shen made a brief report, he stated that despite the economic downturn, the company would work hard to overcome the difficulties, not asking the help of the government but exploiting the market. After listening to the report, Vice mayor Huang expressed appreciation of the company's current status and future plans.

    Wuxi SMART organized management team to attend series of learning activities

            Just after the Spring Festival, the first day on duty, the company organized management team to attend learning activity. The learning was divided into three stages, the first stage was hosted by management department leaders. President Shen taught how to run business, how to make a century-old company, how to build and inherit company culture. Vice president Zhong taught how to build the cultivation of professional manager, and Vice president Shen taught workplace etiquette and business etiquette. The second stage was in the form of sharing the departmental work case, all sorts of drawbacks and bad style of work were exposed, the market oriented sector employees talked about the needs of customers, spoke out their own expectations, then the problems could be brought back to relevant departments, letting one unit guide a whole area, overall reflecting the ugly problems of the work of the department, developing a plan for continuous improvement. The third stage was that management team summed up the gain and loss of the work, did self-criticism, made suggestions for the company. The series of learning activities were completed at the end of February.
